Should I act positively on my insurance agent’s advise

I am architect by profession and work on contract basis. I have LIC policy for sum assured Rs. 10 lakhs. While discussing things with my insurance agent, he suggested me to invest in Sampurna Samridhi plan of HDFC. He said that the plan has awesome features and will give good returns to me. What should I do?
