What are the consequences of missing intimation fees on property

I have purchased a flat in Navi Mumbai. I have paid for the flat by borrowing home loan from SBI. Now, I have come to know that within 30 days of mortgage, I need to file Notice of Intimation. I have received the letter from Bank. I want to know the consequences if I do not pay the fees for processing of intimation.

I have heard people saying that the charges are 1% of the loan amount. However, no such information is there on the website of RBI. Please demand circular whenever you will be asked to pay.
